With the KD-R470 receiver's front-panel USB port, you can plug in your library of MP3, WMA, WAV, or FLAC music files. The USB port also doubles as a port for an Android phone, enabling you to play and control the phone's stored music while it charges. If you've got your music stored on a portable device with a headphone output, you can access all of its music by plugging into the front-panel auxiliary input. Finally, you can go old school by sliding a CD in or tuning in your favorite AM or FM station.
The KD-R470 receiver also features built-in dimmer and brightness controls, so you can see the info on its single-line display without any unnecessarily distracting lights.
A built-in 3-band parametric equalizer, twelve EQ preset settings, and loudness controls let you zero in on just the right sound. JVC included a set of preamp outputs and a low-pass filter, so you can plug in a powered subwoofer to add some oomph to your music.
