Unlike most other dual voice coil subs, this sub's Selectable Smart Impedance (SSI™) switch makes it easy to change the sub's impedance from 2 ohms to 4 ohms, the most commonly used impedances. The sub's proprietary aluminum cone punches out bass as low as 30Hz and handles up to 400 watts RMS. It works equally well in free-air applications, or in sealed, bandpass, or ported enclosures, another example of its versatility.
